For this story, I treated Bavarian tradition as a visual language rather than a fixed set of rules. Recognisable codes of silhouette, craftsmanship, cultural references are confronted with couture, luxury fashion and unexpected styling.

The tension between the familiar and the unfamiliar becomes the story itself.

Not costume. Not nostalgia.
